While any transaction be it local, national or international, requires care and planning the international transactions require special care, training and planning.

BEFORE YOU CONTRACT:

1. There is nothing Free in this world. You have to work hard and get the results. Do not expect miracles.

2. If a customer is not ready to sign a contract do not go ahead even thought the transaction appears very profitable.

3. Never send any free samples, sample orders or any thing free to any party unless your product sample cost very little and the cost of sending is managable. We are referring to consumer items of value. There are many companies whose business is to collect samples from all over the world and then sell them in local markets. Any customer demaning free samples or similar free stuff is not serious and will never be able to do any business.

4. Send your offer in

  • a very clearly worded format,
  • fullest specifications, drawings,
  • details, illustrations and any graphic description, 
  • a clear price with clear mention of CURRENCY,
  • clear mention of the cost of samples,
  • delivery periods,
  • time required to source or produce the product,
  • If you are selling a commodity write clearly if it is perishable
  • write a clear indicaton of storage requirments
  • packaging and packing of the product or commodity
  • if a bulk commodity, clearly state if it is free flowing, can be caked, if it has any anti caking agent or material used,
